Welcome to Wine Down!

A 5 bedroom home (with an optional 6th), Wine Down is three floors of beautiful living space facing glorious views of the capital city. A large wrap around verandah allows for both indoor and outdoor so many choices of areas to lounge in you will leave completely rejuvenated. A Heated Plunge Pool gives you the option of cooling off after a long walk or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening while enjoying the city lights. For evening fun we have a fully outfitted games room in the basement which opens out onto a lovely green area.

We wanted to do something a little different from the usually bland conference room for our Executive Team's strategic retreat and the decision either to choose villa by the beach or villa in the mountains. We decided on Wine Down Villa in Greenwich, Blue Mountains and it was the perfect venue. The peace and tranquility in addition to the beautiful view of the city of Kingston and the Caribbean sea provided the ideal setting for the type of tough discussions that the team needed to have. We took 3-5k nature walks each morning, first going up to Portland Gap and the second morning going to Newcastle. The staff seem to just magically appear exactly as you needed something. Our facilitator has asked us to ensure that we book this exact location again for next year. We all loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful villa in the mountains! The gardens are beautiful and the view of the city below is breathtaking both day and night. Thank you Tania (owner) for organizing a guide to take us on a hike to Catherine's peak, perfect activity to do early in the morning before sitting down to a delicious breakfast prepared by the villa's attentive staff. Hard to find a nicer place to curl up with a book and enjoy a glass of wine! Upon entering Wine Down you will exhale the breath you never knew you were holding. Thanks!
